About The Pinery
The Pinery started out as a small choose and cut Christmas tree farm 30 years ago. Family owned and operated The Pinery now produces fresh and fragrant living trees for your Spring and Holiday merchandising needs. The nursery encompasses more than 100 lush acres in the rolling hills of North County San Diego, California.
At The Pinery, we are more than just a grower. We strive to support the final sale of every single one of our premium products by offering the highest quality, service and reliability in the industry.
We sell direct to national retail stores and garden centers throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Our expert craftsmen shear and groom each plant to make it worthy of the “Grown by The Pinery” label. These same craftsmen then hand select each plant for shipment guaranteeing that only the highest quality trees ship to you.
The Pinery strives to be stewards of the land wherever possible. We have committed ourselves to growing practices that are not only environmentally safe but also sustainable. We use an all-organic, proprietary soil mix; a watering system that allows zero runoff; and we constantly recycle plant clippings back into the earth for both erosion control and topsoil nutrients.
